RPF Application Fee

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has mentioned that the application fee for the online application process will be as per the norms. The candidates are required to pay the application fee online/offline (mode will be confirmed). For the application form, General/OBC category candidates are required to pay Rs. 500/- and SC/ST/Female/ESM/EBC candidates are required to pay Rs. 250/-.

RPF Recruitment 2024 Selection Process

The RPF (Railway Protection Force) recruitment typically includes multiple stages to assess candidates for various positions, such as Constables and Sub-Inspectors. Check the details given below.

1. Computer-Based Test (CBT) – Phase I: Initial online exam covering General Awareness, Arithmetic, General Intelligence, and Reasoning.
2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Measurement Test (PMT) – Phase II: Qualified candidates from CBT undergo activities like running, long jump, and high jump. Physical standards vary by post.
3. Document Verification: Candidates provide the necessary documents to confirm eligibility.
4. Medical Examination: Successful candidates from document verification undergo a medical check to meet the required standards.
5. Final Merit List: Ranking based on performance in CBT, PET, PMT, and document verification.

RPF Recruitment 2024 Exam Pattern

You must pass a computer-based online exam to be selected for RPF Constable or SI. The following is the RPF Exam Pattern 2024 for Constable and SI posts. 

1. There is a negative marking of 1/3rd mark for each wrong answer marked by the candidate.
2. The duration of the exam is 90 Minutes (1 Hour 30 Mins).
3. The Exam shall be computer-based and questions will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) type.
4. The difficulty level of the questions for the Constable post will be as per class 10th (Matriculation).
5. The difficulty level of the questions for the SI post will be Graduation.

RPF Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

RPF PMT Standards for Constable and SI Post: The candidates are required to possess the minimum Physical Standards for the SI and Constable posts as mentioned in the table below.

RPF Document Verification

The final stage of selection will be the document verification round. Candidates who will clear all the stages will reach the DV round. In this round, the documents of the candidates like mark sheets, caste certificates, NOC Letters, and other important documents will be checked. Candidates who fail to produce the required documents as per the stated date will be disqualified.

RPF Recruitment 2024 Syllabus
